Tunnel Visionary<\/span><\/h2>\n

After three straight years
\n<\/span>of reading surrealist poetry
\n<\/span>on the tiled platforms
\n<\/span>of the London underground,
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>the mind can shrink from you,
\n<\/span>squidquick, into the dark
\n<\/span>(in the lilac time
\n<\/span>between streetlamps and their dimming)
\n<\/span>
\nuntil its wet blink
\n<\/span>beholds petals
\n<\/span>upon the spines
\n<\/span>of fiery starfish.<\/span><\/p>\n
