a refrigerated,
\ncellophane-wrapped<\/p>\n

rose.<\/p>\n

Tinnitus: A Love Song<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s something only I can hear
\nand especially during those moments
\nthat get so quiet without you
\nnot a buzzing exactly or a hiss
\nmore like the screech of lab mice
\nconditioned by electric shocks
\nto shudder at the smell of cherry blossoms.<\/p>\n
