the prow of your shining
\nship locked towards war,<\/p>\n

your bright ox belligerent,
\nall hoof and horn,<\/p>\n

your shimmering plow
\nuprooting fields\u2014<\/p>\n

and by the time you work
\nyour gleaming mill,<\/p>\n

you, too heartsick
\nto knead its grain,<\/p>\n

its salt seasoning only
\ndisappointment.<\/p>\n
