The white and mushy
\ninterior of a cockroach
\nshouldn\u2019t be the stuff
\nof poetry about sex,
\nthe end of innocence
\nor even death, yet here
\nwe are wiping the milk
\nof its insides from my palm
\nacross the wall of this verse.<\/p>\n
