We were watching a Julia Roberts
\nmovie, a long one where the guy
\ndies at the end, and when we left
\nthe theater there was my car alone
\nat the end of the parking lot, lights
\nblazing like the eyes of an animal
\non the edge of the woods and of
\ncourse the battery was dead and
\nit was below zero and we hadn\u2019t
\nworn coats and all we could do
\nwas stay in the back with nearly
\n200 degrees between us and wait
\nfor my Dad to come with the cables
\nand I figured I\u2019d be lectured but
\nhe didn\u2019t say a word, thinking
\nmaybe I\u2019d learned my lesson.<\/p>\n

Ian Willey<\/strong><\/span> has no problem speaking about himself in the third person since he’s as puzzled by his behavior as everyone else.<\/em><\/p>\n
