Faraday Cage

—an enclosure of conducting material

You, my keeper, my mooring
against a blast of blue—
You block
the electro-magnetic
fields, return me
ultimate white
weighing
a capacity
with air.

Corn Palace, is the author of I Might Be Mistaken (Word Poetry, forthcoming 2015).
